The Historical repository

The principal task of the repository is to collect, keep on file, and process the objects and documents related to the social, political, economic and cultural scene and to make them available through exhibitions and publications to all who are interested. The repository's staff of 21 colleagues is led by Repository Director István Ihász and his Deputy Director Tibor Kovács S.; the 16 research workers are helped by 3 storekeepers, and the administrations of the unit is handled by 2 people. The research workers participate in conferences both home and abroad and they deliver lectures and seminars for university students and people on further training.
